District Webinars

During the 2026–2027 Rotary year, District Governor Rita Zappulla and her leadership team will host a series of monthly information sessions covering key aspects of running a successful Rotary Club.

These sessions are designed to support club leaders and members by providing practical guidance, insights, and best practices across a range of topics.

Public Image & Canva

Monday 29th June 2026, 6pm

The very first session is brought to you by Past District Governor Merewyn Wright who is our District Public Image Chair and co-hosted by District Executive Secretary Sam Dyer. 

This topic will focus on interactive examples of how to use Canva and Public Image best practices for Social Media accounts! 

My Rotary

Monday 27th July 2026, 6pm

District Executive Secretary Sam Dyer will run through how to use MyRotary in detail, including the learning centre, brand centre, managing club members, prospective membership leads and more!

Membership

Monday 31st August 2026, 6pm

District Membership Chair PDG Michael Buckeridge will be running through the District’s membership goals and helpful tools to build your club’s membership! 

PolioPlus

Monday 28th September 2026, 6pm

District Foundation Chair PDG Phil Dempster and District PolioPlus Chair PDG Joanne Schilling will be presenting to clubs on how to achieve our annual fundraising goals for the PolioPlus fund and what clubs can be doing in October for World Polio Day! 

Public Image (traditional)

Monday 26th October 2026, 6pm

District Public Image Chair PDG Merewyn Wright will be presenting on some traditional public image tools, such as club newsletters, local newspapers, club bulletins, press releases, etc. 

Systems, IT & AI

Monday 30th November 2026, 6pm

District Systems Administrator Sam Dyer will be running an information session on all things Information, Communication & Technology, including district emails, SharePoint, AI software and much more. 

The Rotary Foundation

Monday 25th January 2027, 6pm

District Foundation Chair PDG Phil Dempster will run an information session on our charity, the Rotary Foundation. 

Club goal progress check in

Monday 22nd February 2027, 6pm

District Governor Rita Zappulla will be hosting a webinar to catch up with clubs and run through our progress as a district for our collective goals both at a club & district level. 

Insurance Annual Declarations

Monday 22nd March 2027, 6pm

District Insurance Officer Col Craig will be hosting an information session on clubs completing the annual insurance declarations. 

Membership

Monday 12th April 2027, 6pm

District Membership Chair PDG Michael Buckeridge will be running a webinar as an update to our District’s membership goals and provide some practical suggestions as to how to grow your club’s membership. 

Public Image

Monday 31st May 2027, 6pm

District Public Image Chair PDG Merewyn Wright alongside District Executive Secretary Sam Dyer will be running a webinar for all things public image! 

Final check in with Clubs & DG

Monday 28th June 2027, 6pm

District Governor Rita Zappulla will be hosting our final monthly webinar and we will use this as a chance to report on the districts goal success, challenges and what we can do to improve our district, our clubs and ourselves going forward.
